The short-scar technique means that the scar becomes almost half the size compared to a T-incision, and with an L-incision, it means that part of the incision is not made at all.

A classic scar usually looks like an inverted T and can extend parallel to the armpit all the way to the cleavage. A scar that can sometimes be up to 20cm or wider.

The technique results in a better outcome, better durability, and a much smaller scar that also heals more beautifully.
